In psychology, maturity is the ability to respond to the environment in an appropriate manner. This response is generally learned rather than instinctive.
Maturity also encompasses being aware of the correct time and place to behave and knowing when to act, according to the circumstances and the culture of the society one lives in.
But according to me maturity is,
When you start feeling bored on social networking sites.
When you can't take interest in chatting with any random people.
When you don't share your feelings on Facebook because you know, no one cares about you.
When you start taking responsibilities.
When you fall in love with your family.
When you get ready for college and your mother gives you a hot coffee in early morning and you start seeing her face, how much from years she has been working for you and still don't tired.
When you take your parents scolding as blessing
When you focus on knowledge than marks
When you start focusing on your health and make yourself better everyday.
When you don't care if someone special or friend ignores you.
When you don't judge individuals on the basis of their dress, beauty, cast, religion or marks in exams.
When you don't involve yourself in any stupid talks.
When you stop searching life partner and start focusing on your goals.
When you stop complaining and start doing.
When someone hurts you, you don't hurt them back. You just say “ It will be good for me”.
. When you stop being jealous from others. If you don't know something you just ask to other person without overthinking.
When you stop comparing yourself. Because every individual is totally different from other.
When you stop expecting from others.
When you don’t become anxious if someone don't reply of your long messages.
When you don't care what other's think about you.
When you always smile in front of others even if you are feeling very sad from inside.
When you start “ Loving yourself”.
