THE WORST TIMES ARE THE BEST

There are times in our life when we feel-simply put - diminished. When our confidence is shattered, our very conscience struggles to keep itself whole. When it feels like the entire world out there is a giant monster waiting to engulf us with its mouth open, and that every direction we pursue seems to take us nearer to it. When we develop a tendency to accumulate the negative of everything and ignore the positive. When we start viewing our selves with contempt and as the most useless creature of the universe. When we loathe every tiny flaw of ours. When even our dear ones seem to be mocking us. When we border on the decision to drop all efforts and give up, as a consequence of 'I cannot do it' attitude. And when, most importantly, we forget to live, smile, laugh. When we forget to be happy.

Such a time comes in the life of all ambitious people. Perhaps it does the work of differentiating between the successful and the unsuccessful. No doubt such times are harsh. Very harsh indeed.
But they teach us much more than our textbooks, family and relatives can do.

These times strengthen you. They teach you to believe in your self. So what if you did not succeed the first or second or the third time? It might be possible that fourth try would do it, isn't it? For how long will your goal manage to stay away from you and your zealous efforts?
Have faith in your self. Each person has his own story, you are writing yours. Just like a love story feels incomplete without a villain, would not a success story feel incomplete without a failure? Keep trying with all the rigor and belief and you will find your aims seeking you. Detach your self from the fruits of your hard work-do not become elated if they are good and do not become depressed if they are not in your favour. That is not your job. Your responsibility is to put your mind, body and soul into your work while doing it and forget about it once it is done. Do not dwell on the possible consequences and hurt your self by over thinking. Though these things are easier said than done, one can master anything by sincere efforts and practice.

Find out your mistakes from the past and, instead of lamenting over them, try to learn from them. This is perhaps the best way to progress in your work and in life too. (and it is a very effective one)

Stop thinking about the past. Let bygones be bygones. It is over now and you can do nothing about it. Stop thinking about the future too. You do not know what it will bring and your thinking about it would not change anything. So live through the hard times and emerge tough. Be unstoppable.
