The Best Ballad.

Music captivates your heart and refreshes your mind. The ballad of Cleopatra is a connection of different songs telling us a story of a girl. The way "The Lumineers"  portrayed it is deep and touching. It describes people's inability in doing what they wished earlier and regrets which they have later. This is a ballad of three songs. People have different theories as to how the songs connect with each other.

1. Sleep On The Floor

Starting with sleep on the floor in which the girl is feeling miserable about the death of her father. Her love asks her to come with him and leave the town. She decides to leave the town with him. They enjoy their time together. and finally, decide to marry each other. they sleep on the floor after their marriage. The song ends with the girl waking up crying on the floor in her own house and everyone leaving as her fathers funeral had ended. Everything which she just had with her love was just a dream. She hadn't left her town. The things which she dreamt was just the things she wished to happen.

2.Angela.

Now the girl is married to someone else. It doesn't seem that she loves him. She is pregnant. She wishes to solve the conflicts between them. But she runs away in a car. She moves to a hotel where she stays for a day and then leaves in a taxi. In this song, she explains her sorrow to her child Angela in her womb. About how the real world was.

3.Cleopatra

This song tells the grief of an old woman now. How she regrets her decisions, made when she was young. And how she is late for everything now. The only good things in her life were the birth of her son and the divorce from her husband. In the end of the song, she wishes to go with her son and husband like a family. But she stays back in the taxi and now drives a taxi to distract herself from the unwanted thinking. Strangers in her back reminded her of her youth.
