Puri the abode of lord jagganath, Puri is considered one of the four dhams or hindu pilgrimagecentres. A beautiful destination all year round, Puri is famously known for 'Rathyatra' that commences every year in july, we decided to stop over at Bhubaneswar and Puri an idealweekend getaway from kolkata while taking a road trip across India,Here is an account of ourmesmerising visit:-

Every year lots of pilgrims visit to worship the lord Jagganath in the holyland, the'Rathyatra' is world wide famous pilgrims pull the chariot of the lord.

Puri is not abigcity, the only prominent market is along the Jagganath temple area, it ishere that we spotted some savoury snacks that looked really tempting from farbutoncloser we had to change our mind as because of flies.
 Another major attraction is puribeach the beach with a great current of waves,peoplelike the enjoyment on the beach, and relaxing on the beach with a coconut water inhand, various sand artists over there display their beautiful work on the sand's of thebeach,various water activities over there include motor bike,parachute,bananaride etc.,

Bhubaneswar:-
lingaraj temple-It is an ancient temple with great religious importance dedicated toLordShiva. It is visited by a huge number of devotees through out the year.

Hirakuddam-constructed across the mahanadi river in orissa, hailed as one of thelongest man made dams in the world. A number of migratory birds fly towards thisdestination in winter. Any nature lover will love the quaint atmosphere and lushgreenery that is in abundance at the hirakuddam.

Udayagiri and khandgiri caves-The part natural and part artificial caves.The cavescontain several jain temples and monasteries. It is again an exemplary of somefinestone carving by the kalinga artisans.

Dhaulihills-
located at the banks of the day a river,dhaulihill is considered to

The foreigners who travel around India, just say one thing that India is the most beautiful country they have ever visited, starting from ancient historic cultures, the mountain beauty,the famous ashrams which they like,the politeness of people, the food.Its all in all a complete package,we are fortunate enough to born in India. Today I am going to share my travel experience of some states.

Rajasthan-The historic state

Starting from Jaipur the heart of state,Jaipur is famous for it's name 'Pinkcity',the whole city is of pink colour, and famous fort extiles, artwork, handlooms etc.,

The travel areas include HawaMahal this place was used by the 'ranis' in the evening to enjoy in fresh air, Jal Mahal this Mahal is in between the lake, however there are motor boats to take you to the mahal.

Udaipur the city of lakes, It is mostly famous for its most no. of beautiful lakes, you can take a luxurious boat ride and sit comfortable and enjoy the boat ride around the lake with cool air blowing around. And the pride of the city the 'CityPalace' mademyJai singh,it is a museum displaying the weapons,guards and memories of Maharanapratap singh.

Jaisalmer the golden city-The city which gets connected to Pakistan, the Sand grounds you can see sand till the last end of your eye sight, in the winter there happens to be affair showcasing the culture of Rajasthan, ranging from cultural activities to textile showcasing, and a stay intents a life time experience.
