HAUNTED EVENT OF MY HOSTEL LIFE !
Today is 10th of November, 2017. Yesterday night I
had one of the funny moment of my life. It was not exactly yesterday. Actually,
it is the incident of today’s very early morning of about 3.00 A.M. I had gone
to my bed at 11.00 P.M. and woke up at about 1.30 A.M. due to the noise of my
friends (room mates), actually, as usual they were enjoying at their best by
scaring Vivek. Vivek is a nice guy but having characteristics of being too much
afraid, who used to be afraid even if someone sneezes in the dark.
At about 3.20 A.M., there was a knock at the door opposite to
that of ours where 5th year seniors used to live. We heard the
knocking noise. Rahul, Aman & Vivek in no time opened the gate and rushed
to catch the fellow who knocked the door, as few minutes earlier we also
received similar knock, by opening of which we find no one. I didn’t rushed as
I was reading my ‘Law of Torts’. Rahul
& Aman seen a tall person wearing black jacket and covering its face with
the jacket’s cap. Rahul followed him as that fellow was going through the
corridor towards stairs. As soon as Rahul reached the stairs, there was no one.
He was scared very much and so does Aman. Aman was kept speaking ‘maa kasam’, for assuring me that the
fellow was none but a ghost whom both of them (Aman & Rahul) had seen.
All 3 came quickly and closed the door in fear. Their face
(especially Aman) was likely to see as if now the ghost is going to attack him.
After 10 minutes, there was gentle knock at the door of ours.
It was the knock for about 10-15 times continuously with 2 seconds of interval.
For the purpose of scaring them, I used to say ‘wait I am going to see’. They switched
off the lights for the purpose of fooling the ghost that we had slept. As soon
as there was knock, Aman jumped from his bed with a speed of bullet and entered
into the mosquito net of Rahul stating that he will no longer sleep in his bed
as his bed is just near the door. Vivek was saying that it seems as if he was
to now leave the hostel. At this moment, Aman was the person who was in most
fear.
After few minutes, Rahul revealed that there was no such
ghost. It was his setting for scaring Aman & Vivek. That fellow in black
jacket whom Aman had seen was none but a senior of second year. It was a moment
of great fun for me (and all of us).
Now, the question arises, whether I scared at that moment or I
had the pre-knowledge of this duplicate ghost??? This is a matter of suspense
for you all readers.
