A quick search on the internet would
return the definition of
Ghost as “The image of
a dead thing which appears to be living”. Although many deny its existence I
believe in it.
Okay, So you don’t believe in it?
How
about I make you to?
How
about I convince you that you have seen one?
Despite the years of research there is
no scientific evidence on ghosts because from the beginning we were looking in
the wrong direction. Ghost can’t be found in graveyards, abandoned houses or
eerie jungles. We need to turn our gaze upwards, towards the stars to see one.
Confused?
Let
me put an end to your confusion.
The closest star to Earth next to Sun
is the Alpha Centauri which is around 93 million miles away. Light takes 4
years to reach Earth from Alpha Centauri.
Earths Neighbor Stars |
Now think about other stars, the light
from these stars may take anywhere between 6 years to 16,308 years (For the
farthest known observable star V762 Cas in Cassiopeia).
Cassiopeia Galaxy |
Now it might be very well possible that by the time the
light from these stars reach Earth, the star may already have ran out of it’s
fuel and already died giving off a spectacular supernova.
A supernova |
So what we observe is a dead star which
doesn’t exist in physical world and yet we see it. Doesn’t that make it a
Ghost?
You are able to see something long dead.
I now hope, you too believe in
ghosts, for now you know
you have seen one!
Thanks a Lot! :-)
