Experience the luxury - Regent Seven Seas Explorer

When an ocean liner trademarks itself as “The most luxurious ship ever built” it better be really good. The new Regent Seven Seas Explorer merits the horn- blowing with a mix of over the top service, marble by the acre and guest suites so opulent it’s almost impolite to call it a Cruise Ship.

Regent built and launched the $450 million, 750 passenger vessel last year with a 15-night sail from Los Angeles to Miami by way of the Panama Canal. The real extravagance is the civilized way guests are treated starting with the fact that everything is included in one price.
The moment you climb aboard, it’s all paid for: The caviar and Lobster, The wine and premium Spirits, room service, staff gratuities, Shore excursion, entertainment, lectures, Wi-Fi and business-class airfare to get you there and home.

Here’s what makes the Regent Seven Seas Explorer worthy of it’s bragging rights:-

The Suite Life

  • 375 spacious rooms all fit with Italian carrera marbles and generous balconies.
  • The starter Veranda Suits, at around 300-square-feet, feel ample for 2 with deep walk in closets, double sinks, shower, separate soaking tabs and large king beds.
  • The 2000-square-foot-plus explorer suite comes with 2 marbles and stone bathrooms, Bottega Veneta bath products, a 300-square-foot balcony access to the ship’s private dining room, the study.

 Redefining fine dining at sea

  • It has 2 main lunch restaurants and six for dinner, the explorer leaves zero chances to go hungry while on board.
  • There is a pacific rim dining room with Asian dishes like grilled Korean barbecue lamb chops and miso-spiced black cod.
  • The signature compass room, the largest on the ship, features 400 specially designed Versace place settings and a menu that’s sophisticated and vast.

Spa

  • The Canyon Ranch Spa on seven seas explorer offers exclusive experiences designed with red flower, beauty products and lifestyle company.
  • North Atlantic journey, which uses sea salt from the Atlantic Ocean, enhanced with sea algae and Icelandic moonflower.
  • At 750 feet, the spa is the fleet's largest and has eight treatment rooms; a large thermal suite and a private outdoor deck.

The terry cloth on the pool chaises, golf practice, bocce and peddle tennis. You can go and hit casino or the library or jog on the outdoor deck, but then again, a ship like explorer aims to give you way more than you could possibly need.
