Destinations of my Dreams - Canada & NYC

Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.

Sometimes packing up your bags and leaving for some place randomly is all what you need in life. The world is full of beautiful destinations, food and cultures; all you need, is to grab an opportunity and live the life of your dream and explore the world. Adventure is always worthwhile.

Here are 2 of my favourite destinations where i would love to explore the food, streets and culture among people.

CANADA

Canada is more than its hulking-mountains, craggy-coast good looks: it also cooks extra-ordinary meals, rocks cool culture and unfurls wild. It is the 2nd largest country in the world. Sky high mountains, glinting glaciers, spectral rainforest and remote beaches are all here spread across all 6 time zones.

Top experiences in Canada:-

1. Banff National Pak

Simplicity marks the origin of Banff—Canada’s first national park. In 1883, on the slopes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, three railway workers discovered a natural hot spring, and from there the park was born. Located in Alberta, stretches across 1,641,027 acres.

Banff is part of UNESCO’s Canadian Rocky Mountains World Heritage site. Located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, the park boasts a cornucopia of postcard-perfect mountains. In winter, the mountain landscape makes for incredible downhill and cross-country skiing.

2. Vancouver

Vancouver is the real culinary capital of canada. Loosen your belt and dive right into North America's best Asian Dining Scene, from chatty Chinese Restaurants to authentic "IZAKAYA'S" (japanese pubs) including seasonal spot prawns and juicy mild salmon.

Walk or hop transit and within minutes you'll be hanging with the locals in one of the city's many diverse and distinctive hoods. Those snow-dusted mountains that are peeking at you from between downtown's glass towers are less than 30 minutes away by car; Canada's urban green-space jewel and highly beloved "Stanley Park".

3. Niagara Falls (Ontario)

Unstoppable flow of rushing water surges over the arcing fault in the riverbed with thunderous force. From June to August the falls viewing areas can get packed with summer vacationers. November through March is cold, with temperatures averaging between 21 and 39°F. Nearby Niagara-on-the-Lake, about a 20-minute drive from the falls, hosts three major Wine Festivals: Icewine in January, New Vintage in June, and the classic vintage Niagara Wine Festival in September. From April to October the city hosts its famous Shaw Festival.

NEW YORK CITY

Epicenter of the arts.Dining and Shopping capital. Trendsetter. New York City wears many crowns and spreads an irresistible feast for all. With its compact size and streets packed with eye-candy of all sorts- architectural treasures, old world cafe's, atmospheric book sellers and curio shops.

Top experiences in New York City:-

1. Empire State Building

It's a historic building in midtown. This classic was built in just 410 days using seven million hours of labor during the great depression. The view from it's 86th floor outdoor deck and 102nd floor indoor deck are heavenly.

2. Central Park

The park is situated in upper west side. It is one of the world's most renowned green spaces, central park spreads across 843 acres of rolling meadows, boulders-studded outcroppings, european style gardens, a lake and a reservoir. It also has a outdoor theater, a memorial to Jon Lennon and a very famous statue of Alice in Wonderland.

3. Brooklyn Bridge

Brooklyn Bridge is situated in financial district and lower Manhattan. The bridge connects brooklyn and manhattan. It is world's 1st steel suspension bridge, opened in 1883, the 1596 ft. span between its 2 support towers was the longest in history.

4. Times Square

It is an area in midtown. Love it or Hate it, the intersection of broadway and seventh avenue pumps out the NYC of global imagination. Yellow cabs, golden arches, soaring skyscrapers and razzle-dazzle broadway marquees. It had gone from "X-rated" to "G-rated" drawing around 50 million visitors annually.
