One of the hypocrisies!

Me and my mom got into a casual conversation about politics and could BJP win next loksabha elections.

Me: BJP might lose in our state in vidhansabha elections but will win at loksabha (I'm from Maharashtra)

Mom: No BJP would lose loksabha too. They took wrong decisions like demonetisation, GST.

Me: Mom please tell me what is GST and it's structure.

Mom: I don't know.

This is mentality of significant population in our country. People who don't know anything about it give their opinions without having second thought. Your opinion is welcome if you have knowledge about what you are saying.

During vajpayee govt, the GDP growth was about 5.4% which doesn't sound impressive. But 60 million jobs were created. Asset inflation, share market inflation was under immense control.

During Manmohan Singh govt, GDP growth was 8.5% but only 2.7 million jobs were created. Assets and share market got ridiculously inflated. The reason was lagre amount of high denomination notes were minted by RBI which was circulated and never came back to it. The economy was severely unorganised which had to be regulated somewhere which Modi govt did.

And yes common people did suffer. But when a kid is on wrong path, parents had to slap him to bring him on right path. At that very moment, the kid feels immensely bad but he has to understand that it was for his good.

Another hipocrisy I felt is that Manmohan Singh who was taking press conference to speak against demonetisation, I literally don't remember him speaking in his tenure of 10 years. Well, time is powerful thing. It make people change their die hard habits.
