Who doesn’t want to stay active and healthy all the time? But we fall prey to the delicious but malign junk food, which are a delight for your palate but ruinous for your health. You don’t have to completely inhibit the intake of fast food, just change it from ‘regular’ to ‘seldom’. The best way to stay healthy is by preparing your food at your home, this way not only you stay healthy but also prevent burning a hole in your pocket. For a glowing skin, you need to take a proper diet including all the necessary vitamins and minerals. Make seasonal fruits your best buddies! Experiment with them. Make detoxifying smoothies and salads. Fruits are tasty and healthy! 

For a healthy gut, you need to add pro-biotics in your diet. Greek yogurt has become the new superfood in the market. It contains more protein than the regular one. There are many variants available in the market. Make your food colourful by adding lots of greens (cabbage, lettuce and broccoli), yellows (yellow bell peppers and corn) and reds (tomato and beetroot). Add an adequate amount of nuts and seeds in your diet.
 
Substitute your oily breakfast with Muesli and milk, with a topping of your favourite fruit. You can always take healthier decisions by choosing fresh fruit juice over soft drinks and prevent the intake of those extra calories. Although it’s healthier to plan your diet in a way such that all the required vitamins are included and not by calories. Apart from eating all the healthy food it is vital to stay hydrated. You need to drink at least 4-5L of water every day to stay proactive. You can also drink coconut water to equalize your electrolytes. Use those funky mason jars and add fruits and water in it and enjoy.

The healthy decisions that you take today are going to help you later in your life. So take decisions wisely and make health your priority. Work out every day according to your ability and feasibility and maintain it. You are at your best only when you’re fit. Your productivity decreases when you’re not healthy. So in order to make the most of your life, eat healthy and stay healthy!
