Monsoon Special Menu at Chaayos

Chaayos is one pretty accurate place for a bunch of friends or a couple who shares same love for Chai (i.e. tea). They’ve done some pretty gorgeous experiments with different kinds of Chai. One can even find their personal favorite Chai as they got a wide menu from all over India. Either it’s a cup of tea from Kangra Valley or Kashmere valley as both can be found under a single roof. Ambiance is what I liked the most here where you can have those endless talks with that one friend of yours.

Chaayos has also launched their Monsoon Special Menu recently which got some items which we generally wish to have in Monsoon. Their menu is simple yet wonderful at such a beautiful & trendy place. In love with their ambiance. Talking about the Food and Chai options, I would like to start with their Chai and Coolers and later on I’ll share my entire Food experience.

Chai experiments at Chaayos

God’s Chai: Straight from the Kangra valley, this heavenly amazing tea can make up your mood in no time. Best in monsoon for sure.

Pahadi Chai: I always appreciated kashmere tea or let’s just say Kahwa which is the original name to it. It can be improved a bit by adding some broken nuts like cashew and almonds into it. It will turn even gorgeous after adding such nuts.

Shahi Chai: Royal as well as thick chai which is good at confusing people. It makes them confuse either to sip it or have it with a spoon. Viscosity of the Shahi Chai touches that level of confusion. But, if I spread some light about my experience having it, I would call it unique, hot and amazing tea.

Peach Iced tea: It was soul refreshing. Perfect ratio of peach flavor and tea. I really liked the flavor. Best for a sunny day.

Snack options at Chaayos

Palak Patta Chaat: Call it Palak Patta Chaat or call it Dilli Ki chaat, it never failed to impress my taste buds at any outlet in Delhi NCR. It’s my all time favorite snack along with a cup of hot beverage.
Barish waale pakode: Barish waale crispy pakode can be enjoyed here at Chaayos. Although they were too oily and spices could be improved but considering the fact that no other outlet is giving you fresh pakoda. It was like a steal deal to me.

Bun samosa: Remember the time of the college days, when you used to do such experiments like putting a samosa between two buns. If you were a hosteler, you might have understood what I was trying to narrate cause I mostly did that during my college days at hostel. I was very good at experimenting those days when mess gave us bad tasteless food. And then one day, bought a few samosa along with a pack of Buns and fused them together. This particular took me to that beautiful memory of mine. Loved the nostalgic taste of Bun Samosa.

Loaded Open Parantha: It’s the speciality of Chaayos when it comes to food options of the same outlet. An open parantha which looks exactly like a Pizza but the base is Parantha. I’m telling you, this outlet is so good at confusing their customers. Taste wise good as well.

Dessert option at Chaayos

Kulhad waali Jalebi: I really liked the idea of presenting the sweetest dessert in Kulhads which are known best for serving Chai in it. Other than presentation, jalebis were good. One can have a kulhad full of Jalebi or one kulhad of Shahi Chai which usually works as a dessert. So good and creamy.
