In a world today , where money is a priority , where people are ready to sacrifice their very old relations for someone with whom they just fell in love sometime back , where people have been complaining about their lifestyle not being good to their demands not being fulfilled , where reputation matters more than who you actually are , there are these handful of children , a handful of old aged and a handful of physically challenged people living in slums and orphanages.
These are the people who love without being loved back by many.
They are the ones who keep smiling even if you shout at them.
They are the ones who are willing to help you in every possible way even if you don't wish to help them.
They are the ones who donot have any complaints inspite of their demands not being fulfilled.
They are the ones who just want to make people happy in turn , maybe because they know how it feels when you have no one around , when you cannot do what you wanted to.
The little ones out there , may see you as your brother/sister.
The old - aged ones will see you as their child and the rest like a friend definitely.!
During this time , during this phase of the life of underprivileged , a little gift of love and affection is all that it requires.
Neither does it require money , nor does it require gifts.
Just a bit of kindness and love , just the feeling that they are not alone , just helping them with the things that they always wanted to do is more than enough for them.
That is why we say , sometimes it's the little things that matter.
This season , make it a point to lighten the person's life whose better than you . Not in monetary terms but the other way round definitely.
Spread love among people who deserve it .
Make them happy , you will be happy yourself.
Spend time with them and make them feel that they are worth living.
Stop complaining. Start giving. Spread happiness.
Spread kindness.
That's the only thing that never goes out of style.
You never know what could this little gift of yours do to those little ones.
Maybe , then you will know how could your little gift of love brighten up their day in turn enlightening yours too. :)
