We are gifted with a beautiful body. But there are some who aren't that lucky.I came to know this when I attended the 5th young leader's conclave at Ujjain, meeting the upcoming leaders of our nation there. I learned what kind of mindset and goals they have. And how it is important for us to help them achieve that.
One such leader was Ayushi. When she was just 18 years old she had donated her kidney to her mother. The way of donating is not that easy as it might seem to you right now. Like every mother, her mother didn't want her to donate her kidney. But aayushi convinced her by telling why she wants to do it?
this is what Aayushi told her mother.
Both the kidneys in our body are important. But even if we have one kidney our body can perform to the same extent as with two kidneys. Can't she gift her mother a kidney when her mother gifted her a whole body?
This was Aayushi's story. There are millions of people like Aayushi. People donate organs before and after death.
Our eyes, liver, and heart can be donated after death. We never think of how many people will get a new life by our donation.

How to donate organs?
Follow the given procedures
- Get an organ donation form from the hospital.
- The forms duly filled should be returned to the hospital.
- A donor card with the registration no is sent to the donor.
- Unregistered donors are also accepted by the hospital.
- The family members of the donor should be convinced to make a donation.
- Because after the death of the donor it is the responsibility of the relatives to take the body to the hospital.
- The organs of the donor should be in a proper condition to make a donation.
- The organs taken out are properly stored. And the remains are disposed scientifically.
- The body of the donor can be seen by the relatives after donation for three days (varies from hospital to hospital).
- Nails hair can be collected at the time of donation only.
Some people think that if they donate their organs after death. Then in their next birth, they will be deprived of all the organs. Then, if you believe an afterlife exists, don't you think your God will give you another body to live again?
An extract from Bhagwat Gita says
Bg 17.20 — Charity given out of duty, without expectation of return, at the proper time and place, and to a worthy person is considered to be in the mode of goodness.
There is no big as charity as the gift of life.
